As a Human Resources Administrator, your duties may include…
- Ensure employee data is accurately inputted and maintained into our software systems including union, payroll and benefit information
- Assist with data entry and tracking for HR initiatives such as employee training, Employment Equity, and compliance items
- Process, verify and register documentation relating to employee wage, vacation pay, and job changes
- Support the recruitment process by posting advertisements and screening resumes
- Pre-screen candidates and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
- Process and maintain police clearances, such as Background Checks
- Other administrative duties as required
Job Requirements
- 1-3 years’ relevant experience working in an office environment, union experience is considered an asset
- Post-secondary diploma in business, administration, human resources, or a related field
- Advanced technical skills with MS Word and Excel
- Demonstrated aptitude to learn new software programs
- Focused with ability to multi-task and accurately complete work within required timelines
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Positive and friendly attitude
