As a Human Resources Administrator, your duties may include…

  • Ensure employee data is accurately inputted and maintained into our software systems including union, payroll and benefit information
  • Assist with data entry and tracking for HR initiatives such as employee training, Employment Equity, and compliance items
  • Process, verify and register documentation relating to employee wage, vacation pay, and job changes
  • Support the recruitment process by posting advertisements and screening resumes
  • Pre-screen candidates and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
  • Process and maintain police clearances, such as Background Checks
  • Other administrative duties as required

Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years’ relevant experience working in an office environment, union experience is considered an asset
  • Post-secondary diploma in business, administration, human resources, or a related field
  • Advanced technical skills with MS Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated aptitude to learn new software programs
  • Focused with ability to multi-task and accurately complete work within required timelines
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Positive and friendly attitude
