Get Ready
Gather Materials: Broom, Dust Pan, Garbage Bag.
Put on PPE: Gloves
Follow the Procedure
Begin at back of cleaning area and work your way toward the front or entrance.
Sweep debris into aisles or central area for collection.
Work bristles into corners and along baseboards to loosen accumulated dirt.
Sweep dirt together into one pile, pick up with dust pan.
Place debris collected in waste receptacle.
Assess Results
Is the floor clear and free of large, loose visible dirt and debris?
